Admit it, you didn’t think we were going to make it, did you?
Well, we did! Yay! I enjoyed reading the comments from people who were upset about us not releasing the patch in June without even telling you why. As it turns out, we didn’t explain why we were delaying the release because we were not delaying the release. As with many things, June ain’t over ’til it’s over. So there you have it.
Please do read the README since it includes the patching instructions. This post will be relatively short since I know most people just want to play the game.
There is always room for improvement when it comes to projects like this. I know that’s a weird thing to say when I’m releasing something that I’m truly proud of, but I genuinely believe that I could spend another year working on this patch and probably make changes constantly. We’re at the point where we’re ready to draw the line and call it finished. That was our real purpose in setting the June deadline. We needed to have one. As much as perfectionists like Kingcom and myself hate to admit it, perfection is not a reasonable goal. We put in thousands of man-hours on this project and we are ready to send it out to the world. So with no further ado, Kingcom and I are proud to present the Tales of Innocence English translation patch.

Incredible work. You guys have given JRPG fans hours of enjoyment at the cost of something I can’t even imagine. All the time it must have taken to do all this. Just the amount of skits alone are ridiculous, I never imagined the amount of them that there are.

After a well deserved break, because believe me in saying that you deserve one, time to jump on Tales of Destiny Director’s Cut again I suppose? Or might it be Tales of Destiny 2 that is getting the next Absolute Zero treatment? Dare I think it is a different Tales translation project all together? Only time will tell.

I’m just back to say, after having played through over 10 hours of game, that You. Are. Awesome. It totally feels like a perfect translation, with the quality of a professional one, and the love of a fanmade one. God, this game overruled all priorities in my gaming routine.

Is it possible to release the script? _I’m one of those persons owning the Original and I really don’t want to use a rom and a romhack and I played the game with my bad japanese skills… It would be easier for me to play it with an english translation at hand.

I have been playing for 4 hours and I gotta say you have done an awesome work translating the game. It can be noticed you put many hours here, and it also can be noticed that your japanese is way too good. I mean, I’m spanish, and if I had to translate this patch, I wouldn’t know how to do it.

Playing through the game about 60% through (not incl guild etc gonna do them now) and i just want too say wow. Your attention to detail is unbelivable it is both professional and precise, i dont think this could of been recreated better officaly. I have no idea how u managed to translate Hermana, somethings i still cant understand what shes saying because of her thick dialect accent thingy. Thank you so much for this. This is the best game ive ever played for DS and in general a amazing game. The story is amazing and its great too understand this game. Thank you again Throughhim and Kingcom.

hi can anyone send me an early sav of the game and the rom you use, i have a problem here, coz on the first tym i played and tested the game it works fine so i decided to turn off the ds and play later.. but when i played it again the game starts to freeze in the first scene where the main character and his mother talking… pls do send me a early sav fle of the game..
