Play Odin Sphere

By • January 28, 2012

Seriously. There was a good write-up over on Kotaku the other day that spoke to many of the points I loved about it. Of course, everyone remembers my fanboyish post about it. If you haven’t played it, you really owe it to yourself to do so.

  1. what does this have to do with you translating Innocence R?

  2. @Saloma
You seem to be misunderstanding his post. By telling us to play Odin Sphere he is implying that Innocence R has been translated and released under the name Odin Sphere. And that Odin Sphere is being released as Innocence R.

  3. Haha. I still have my fingers crossed for an official Innocence R localization. And, of course, I’m intrigued by rumors of Tempest and Hearts remakes. But in the mean time, play Odin Sphere! It’s just like a Tales game except that the story is coherent and the characters have actual depth! trololol

  4. Umm… I hope this isn’t asking much, but could you finish where crimson-nocturnal left off and finish the english patch for summon night x tears crown?

  5. I don’t know what that is, so no.

  6. Thanks for reminding me I have to buy a PSN card so I can buy this… and some Disgaea 4 add-ons.

  7. throughhim, are you implying Coda’s deep philosophical discussions didn’t shake your very soul? I very much doubt this “Odin Sphere” could compete.

  8. well, since you won’t do it can you send me a link to someone who will or send me some instructions on how to do it because is needs to be done. Ever since nocturnal crimson stopped because people wouldn’t stop bitching I have been taking a stab in the dark and it hasn’t shown very much progress.

  9. I really wouldn’t know the first thing about programming. I’m a translator and I can’t teach that.

  10. Then try the first suggestion

  11. I don’t know anyone who takes random translation requests. Try asking at GBAtemp.

  12. Fighting of the Spiri

  13. Lol, I had this long comment written and somehow pasted something I had copied hours ago… Anyways, short version: I have the game but hear that it has awful slowdown issues and hear PAL version does not so I’m waiting until I get PAL version… eventually. Is the frame rate drop really that serious or just exaggerated?

  14. The short answer is that sometimes there is no lag and sometimes there is terrible lag. The more enemies there are on the screen, the worse it gets. It’s particularly bad during some of the boss fights. Will you notice the lag? Definitely. Would I let it stop me from playing it? Definitely not.

  15. Man, I finished odin sphere a long time ago @_@
such a good game, and the english VA and such was good too.
