Current Focus: Tales of Destiny R main story

Sorry for the late post this month. I didn’t get as much done in November as I wanted to. I didn’t make the most of the time I had. I have a goal that I’m still hoping to meet by the end of the year, so here’s to hoping that December is more productive.

I’m still translating the events in Neustadt, but I’m close. I’ll soon be departing for Aquaveil, where the game’s colorful cast continues to expand. For a character and setting introduction arc, I really enjoy act 1 of ToDR.

Due to some upcoming changes on the back end of the project, we did finally discontinue the twitter feed this month. It was going to have to happen sooner or later, so we just decided to do it sooner. For the time being I’ll probably just stick with these monthly updates, but I’m willing to try and do more frequent ones if there’s interest.

  1. Good to see you have a set goal, I’m sure that will help motivate you. And I’m definitely interested in more smaller random updates, like screenshots of your favorite game moments or something.

  2. Please do more frequent ones, it’s always good to see progress, even small little updates are fine

  3. Monthly updates are fine with me but I think there is always interest in more frequent updates. Though it really depends on if doing more frequent updates motivates you more or not.

  4. I’ve never played this game, I’m looking forward to your translation so I can discover that Tales Of. This is such a beautiful project. Thank you so much for your hard work 🙂 !

  5. Thank you very much for working hard on the translation, even if you didn’t make as much progress as you wanted. I’m fine with monthly updates, but I agree that smaller and more frequent updates would definitely be nice and interesting to see! But that’s sth you gotta decide for yourself and I’m fine either way!

  6. Why don’t you quit already? If you’re not interested no one’s forcing you to keep going. You’ve been unmotivated for more than a couple of months now.

  7. thank you so much for your hard work <3

  8. Well, things are looking quite nice. Your on your way now.

Continue to do your best, & have a happy holiday.

Maybe by the year 2017, you can announce how much percentage of Tales of Destiny R is at, so we can really get our hearts set. Just like that time there was the announcement on a game that was 70 percent translated, it’ll let us know how far through the gameplay has been played about.

But that’s up to you. So once more, major good luck! We’ll cross our fingers hoping you have a good breakthrough in your work.

  9. I don’t mind the monthly ones since I at least have something to look forward to each month. Though I certainly wouldn’t complain if you did go more frequent due to the loss of the twitter feed.

Don’t worry…do things at the pace that works for you! This is always the busiest time of the year, after all, and don’t try to overwork yourself just to finish things.

  10. Keep the updates monthly. Save your time and ours.

  11. Wish there was more we could do to let you know of our support. We’re rooting for you, but at the same time, we don’t want you to crack under the pressure. Keep going mate!
