Absolute Zero Translations

I'm the translator for Absolute Zero. I also take care of the project updates.

Cless has been hard at work on the programming side of Tales of Destiny R. I only wish I could say the same for the translation.

Seriously. There was a good write-up over on Kotaku the other day that spoke to many of the points I loved about it. Of course, everyone remembers my fanboyish post about it. If you haven’t played it, you really owe it to yourself to do so.

It feels like I haven’t updated the blog in ages. I guess six months is a pretty long time in internet years. I’d be lying if I said that I’ve made much progress on translation projects during this extended silence, but things are finally starting to move again.

But I’m just going to forward everything, so only the URL will be changing. There might be some brief downtime, but given how often I’ve been breaking the site recently, you’ll hardly notice the difference!

As you can see, the site is operational again. Thanks to Kyle for taking time out of his camping trip to deal with the hosting issue! Been meaning to make this post for a while, but I kept putting it off. People have been asking, so let’s talk about how I’m working with Namco-Bandai.

I have to be honest. I’ve been around the Tales scene for a while, but this week was the first time I really felt ashamed to be a part of it.

Kingcom, Tales of Innocence’s superstar hacker, and Deets, the graphical wizard and diligent tester, have just released their Super Robot Wars J translation!
