  1. @CAOS: We’ve said constantly that we’re not releasing anything until the project is complete.

@Bruno: We’ve been using Luca from the beginning. I briefly considered changing it to Lucas, but in the end, I went back to Luca. This happened in various posts, but that’s the short version of the story.

  2. I want to see this game in English soon >,> prg linear motion battle system is the best, I hope they have more games of this kind. Too bad that only Tales series and another series (forgot the name) are of this kind. <,<

  3. Just a quick message to encourage you in your hard work! eager to see that thing (:

  4. Update
    Menu Editing: 90%
    Event Translation: 100%
    Event Editing: 0% (Started)

  5. @Soullane: the other game you were thinking about is the .Hack// Series of Games (also made by Bandai Namco, and conveniently uses most of the same Voice actors as most of the Tales Games)

  6. You guys aren’t doing skit editing? It would be great if you could since skits are one of the greatest things in Tales since some are very humorous and part of the storyline as well.

  7. Oh wait, Skit editing is something different I suppose. Sorry for the inconvenience but can you fill me on “Skit editing”. I thought you guys aren’t doing the trans ha ha sorry.

  8. Skit Editing would be the editing that we do on the skit text after the initial translation. We haven’t started it yet since the skits haven’t been completely translated yet.

  9. when will you release the tales of innocence,if not sure, can you estimate it

  10. Summer. Read the blog posts.

  11. Keep up the hard work guys, I anxiously await the final product.

  12. PLZ! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
URE SOOO CLOSE TO FINISH THE JOB!

  13. YEAH!!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!! JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE OF PATIENCE ON YOU’RE DONE…

  14. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Great work, and good luck ;)

  15. Hey guys, great work here, can’t wait till the summer!

  16. hi there

could you up the translated file please? im gonna die if i not play the game! GREAT WORK!!!

  17. Rest in peace.

  18. LOL!

  19. Super mega space godzilla job guys!

  20. So you think this patch will work on the R4 with the best performance? I hope it’s performance will be good. ;)

  21. It’ll work just like the original game does.

  22. Can’t wait for this project’s completion. ^^
    Keep it up.

  23. Keep up the good work! I love the tales series…

  24. not much of updates lately ):

  25. Things are happening, but editing and translating really don’t merit full updates. I can update the percentages one of these days, I just haven’t bothered.

  26. what if you just woke up one morning to find that your computer with ALL of your translation work was gone… and there wasn’t even a power slot in the wall where you had it plugged in before? You would find that all of your information and website updates are still up, but somehow everything you had accomplished disappeared… Supernaturally.

Boy that would suck. Just remember that hasn’t happened when times are looking tough.

    …good work.

  27. Man, you guys are making great progress! I can’t wait to play it! (b^_^)b

  28. Update
    Event Editing: 15%
    Skit Translation: 15%
    Skit Editing: 10%
    Summary Translation: 10%
    Summary Editing: -

  29. Patience is the key… Thanks for all you work. Did you have a good rest?

  30. I rest like a champ.

  31. Hi
I cant wait for the patch
can u please predict when the patch is gonna be done?
(not trying to make u rush things)
    just wondering^^

  32. We are shooting for a summer release, but I’m afraid I can’t predict it beyond that at this point.

  33. Nice work guys, keep it up!

  34. I’d say it being a summer release would be pretty impressive, Considering that you guys are translating and patching the ENTIRE game.

Plus, it being a fan translation, it’s almost guaranteed to be better than a official, Since Fan’s do it for the love of it, and not money. =3

  35. But money gives somebody a huge motivation, doesn’t it?
And also there are more bad fan translations than bad official ones.
Why? Because with a good translation a game, especially a rpg, can be sold better.

  37. guys you are the best !!

  38. guy’s u are the awersome , u are doing the great ultra marvelous and amazing ultra combo job, hehehehe ;) just keep the work man.

  39. It’s really impressive how fast you guys work.
Look at all those official releases; they easily take up a year to translate a Mario game (which clearly does not have as much text as Tales of Innocence)

  40. What you do is awesome, and because I was thinking about it, why don’t you do a translation guide, before the patch, such as this one:
    http://www.gamebrink.com/nintendo-ds/4492-tales-of-the-tempest-guide-1

  41. I don’t like doing guides. They aren’t nearly as useful as patches and take too much time to put together.

  42. Update
    Event Editing: 30%
    Skit Editing: 15%

This is a rather conservative estimation. In reality, a lot more progress has been made than is indicated by these percentages.

  43. Do you know when the patch will be ready?

  44. 1) Don’t use the same e-mail address if you’re going to pretend to be a different person. Your second pointless comment was removed.
    2) As I’ve said in countless posts – Summer.

  45. Menu Editing: 90%

    What’s missing here? O_O

  46. I’ve been watching this progress for a while, and i’d love to play this without having to learn japanese. Tales is a great series, really enjoy seeing your hard work to bring us the games. Thanks

  47. @Invincibles: I’m not willing to call the Arte names complete yet. Likewise, context dependent stuff like skit titles, NPC names, and a few other minor issues still need to be sorted out.

  48. Keep up the good work!!!yeah !!! GO GO GO GO!!

  49. Just wondering……
are you guys going to start translating tales of hearts after you finish innocence?

  50. That’s the sort of question that we’ll address once we finish Innocence.
